Brìde Spring Godess Folklore Illustration A3 Print

£30.00
‘Brìde’ A3 print. Saint Brigid is Ireland’s patroness Saint, however in ancient times, she was the goddess Brigid or Bríg (Brìde as the Scots Gaelic equivalent). This is my Brìde interpretation - the Scottish/Irish crossover tale of how Beira, the Scottish personification of winter, held Brìde captive for several weeks. Brìde was only released when she presented Beira some blooming flowers, indicating that it was spring once again, and Beira’s strength would soon wane. Digitally printed on to FSC certified cotton 250gsm paper, using the highest quality organic pigments. Your print will be wrapped in tissue paper and includes a story card which describes the individual story behind the artwork. The print will be packaged in a hard-backed envelope or tube to avoid damage on its way to you. If the print is a gift, please send me a message as I will happily write a custom note to include in the package for the recipient. Please note that the poster frame in the image is not included in the print. If you need any advice on framing, please don't hesitate to ask! All Rights Reserved © 2024 abbielois / Abbie Lois
