£30.00
‘Calanais’ A3 print. The standing stones of Calanais on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides are seeped in folklore. One such story is that they were once giants, turned to stone for refusing to convert from their pagan ways. Another story is that the giants would be out every night having a ceilidh, but would have to hide once the sun rose or they be turned into stone. The stones we see today are said to be the result a ceilidh that lasted too long! Digitally printed on to FSC certified cotton 250gsm paper, using the highest quality organic pigments. Your print will be signed and titled, wrapped in tissue paper and includes a story card which describes the individual story behind the artwork. The print will be packaged in a hard-backed envelope or tube to avoid damage on its way to you.
