In folklore, cockerels are traditionally seen as a symbol of time, the welcoming of spring and associated with the sun. It was said that their call would be heard three times through the night, and the final call representing the evil spirits of the night being banished with the dawning of a new day. Original illustration digitally printed on to lovely 300gsm off-white Tintoretto Gesso paper, with a dappled finish. Comes with a brown Kraft envelope, with a compostable bag for extra protection.
